There is a loop in the ballroom, though it is not always switched on as requires the sound engineers of the hirer to connect it up to their sound system. Ask the steward if the Loop has been connected and working, if attending an event.

Additional Notes

The was owned by Stroud district Council and it was transferred to Stroud Town Council in 2019, who have set up the Stroud Subscription Rooms Trust to take responsibility for its running. They are undertaking redecorating many of the public rooms and cafe. They are planning to make a Lottery application and obtain other funding to upgrade the Ball Room and the George Room. The Town Council and Subscription Manager have said that loops will be provided in any upgrade of the premises.
